Tornadoes can be incredibly destructive and should be avoided at all costs. This was proven in a terrifying video clip of storm chasers who found themselves stuck in the middle of a powerful storm. The intense winds of the tornado touched down in Lewistown, Illinois, and the storm chasers, led by YouTuber Tanner Charles, were forced to park in the tornado’s path after power line poles blocked the road. The group panicked as the EF-3 tornado approached their car, with windows smashing and debris flying over them. Despite the storm’s top speeds reaching 160 mph, the group miraculously survived without any fatalities, although four people were injured.
